A Couple’s Massage isn’t actually a different type of massage..it’s a special arrangement that allows a couple to receive their massages at the same time in a single room by two different massage therapists. Couple’s can be a husband and wife, girlfriend and boyfriend, moms and daughters, sisters or best friends. Couple’s massage can also be a good choice if you're traveling with someone you don't get to see often enough or you have company visiting from out of town and you want to indulge in a little pampering while enjoying each other’s company Sessions are 1 hour and the massage will usually be a Deep Swedish massage which is a combination of Swedish and Deep Tissue. This massage has a flowing style like Swedish but with the therapist pausing for deep tissue work as may be indicated by your body. As for couples massage etiquette, it's fine to talk to each other through the massage if you want, or be quiet the whole time. It's really up to you.
Couple’s massage does take some notice because of the need to coordinate with another massage therapist, but it’s well worth it!
